Psychometric properties of the Scale of Negative Attitudes towards Trans People in healthcare providers in Puerto Rico

The purpose of this study was to validate the Scale of Negative Attitudes towards Trans People (EANT). The sample consisted of 67 healthcare providers recruited according to their availability. The results confirmed that EANT has a one-dimensional structure. The Cronbach's alpha internal consistency index was .75. No significant differences were found in attitudes towards the Trans community between mental health providers and physical health providers. A discussion of the research findings is presented, as well as its limitations and contributions.
